 The Traditional Gypsy Cob Association Presents

Showing Masterclass with Sarah Fortt

Commencing at 9am.

£50 per horse/rider

Come along & learn how to show your horse or pony off to its full potential.

Open to all types of Horses & Ponies regardless of how much experience you or your horse has, you'll learn how to make the best of what you've got!

An enjoyable, intense information packed day filled with tips on ringcraft, tack & turnout, conformation, individual shows & feeding.

You will have the opportunity to see the ring from a judges point of view, learn how to catch the judges eye & how to cope with others in the ring advice will be given on what class your horse is best suited to, feeding & a guide of what products to use & how to use them.

There will be specific proffesional advice on Turnout for Traditional cobs in aid of the Tradiional Gypsy Cob Association

Schedule of the day

9am - 4.30pm 

  • Brief group chat & 2 suited groups will be split
  • Horses & ponies will be individually accessed for conformation & type, in hand presention, standing up and i will advise what classes you can enter.
  • Group lesson on ringcraft, individual show & how to cope in a ring enviroment.
  • Demonstration given for Traditional Cobs, Native Breeds & Plaited types on how to use products, Plaiting & Trimming.
  • Mock show with Rossettes & coment sheets.
  • Questions & Answers will be welcomed throughout the day

Stabling is available on request or otherwise Horses & ponies can stand on/by lorries as a show enviroment.

Children, Youngsters, stallions & Colts are welcome and will be split into suitable groups.
