Minty was also very successful attaining a 1st & 2 2nds qualifying for 3 classes at the Ponies UK Summer Champs! .....not a bad day out for 2 4year olds at their first ridden show!  Thanks to the owners, Denise & Margaret, for giving us the opportunity to work with two such beautiful ponies.

BSHA SOUTHERN SPRING SHOW - 21ST MARCH

Great day had by all!  Janus finished a respectable 2nd in the RIHS H/W Cob qualifier; he qualified for the Irish Draught Challenge & BSHA National Champs. Teleman won his Maxi Cob class, qualifying for RIHS 2009 & BSHA National Champs. Blueprint was a good boy but was unplaced in the RHIS L/W Cob qualifier, although this was a huge class with some very strong contenders!

THANKS TO LISHA, RICH & JANAY LEEMAN FOR GIVING US THE OPPORTUNITY TO RIDE SOME FAB HORSES. ONWARDS & UPWARDS FOR 2009 WITH SOME EARLY TICKETS IN HAND.

 MULBERRY PARK SHOW 29TH MARCH.

Had a lovely day in the sunshine; we took Peaches & Cream, Floreat Melissa, Janus & Blueprint lll.

Peaches had a good day doing 2 CHAPS UK Affiliated classes, gaining a 3rd & 4th; considering her age and depth of the competition, this was exceptionally good!! In the afternoon, Blueprint lll, ridden by Sarah, gained a creditable 4th in the L/W Cob RIHS qualifier (he was slightly on his toes on the fresh grass!).  He then went on to win the afternoon Open Cob class - and went Champion!!

Janus & Lisha were up next and, as always, gave a foot perfect performance finishing 3rd behind Lynn Russell & Jayne Webber, in a very strong class.  Janus then did a class in the afternoon with Janay on board and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves finishing in 2nd place.

Janay's Maxi Cob, Telemann, then gave a superb performance with Lynn Russell on board and finished in 1st place.

Floreat Melissa competed in the NPS M&M class with her new jockey on board and gave good performance to finish 4th; an excellent result considering this was their first outing together.

OVERALL A FANTASTIC TIME & SOME FAB RESULTS WERE HAD BY ALL. MANY THANKS TO SUE & CHLOE JENKINS FOR ALL THEIR HELP!!!!!

WRITTLE COLLEGE SHOWING SHOW 5TH APRIL

Took Tiger Tim & Snowberry Swan out for a little outing today; this was Timmy's first show with us and he went really well, getting pulled in 2nd initially although eventually moving down to 4th (he was very tired!).  Snowberry Swan went well for Julie and finished 5th.show producers travellers fortune essex ponies

SOUTH OF ENGLAND SPRING SHOW 7TH-8TH APRIL.

BSPS WINTER CHAMPIONSHIPS 10TH-12TH APRIL

Floreat Melissa had a good result in the Heritage B&C Final gaining her place in the evening performance and going on to get 5th place in a class of 19.

Peaches & Cream and Snowberry Swan made their visit on the Sunday with Snowberry Swan achieving 9th place - an amazing result for Julie, as this was her first affiliated show!  Peaches went really well and behaved impeccably but didn't get a placing.

CHAPS UK STALLION & MARE GRADING

Finally - D Day arrived!  All the weeks of hard work and preparation came into play......it was a very tense day for all involved but finished with tears of joy from both owners.Tiger Tim, owned by Theresa Dibble, shone when it mattered most; he sailed through the 5 stage vetting and then, after strutting his stuff in front of the grading panel, fininshed with a 1st Stage Approval.  The panel commented that, when mature, he will be superb!

Peaches & Cream also had a great day  and ended as the highest scoring mare of the day; Denise Kersley her owner, was ecstatic particularly as Peaches is home bred by Denise's Elite Graded Stallion, Bashful Bobby Dazzler!

Here at Top Class Ponies, we are very proud of Sarah who produced both ponies for the grading; Sarah worked incredibly hard and had to remain extremely focused throughout the day, although all her dedication proved worthwhile when both passed. it was especially pleasing that the panel commented on how well produced and turned out both Tiger Tim and Peaches were; they also noted the amazing bond Sarah had with both ponies.

THANKS TO EVERYONE FOR YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT ON THE DAY(JULIE!) AND THE HELP I HAD AT HOME WITH THE PONIES FROM THE START ( SUE!!!)  I COULDNT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT YOU ALL.

Peaches & Cream has another fantastic day out, starting off with winning the In-Hand class with Sarah, beating a Graded stallion plus some other worthy competition!

And so on to the ridden class.......it was a RIHS qualifier so mixed native and non-native.  We finished a creditable 4th behind 3 plaited HoYS ponies so was fairly pleased.  Peaches, as always, went like a dream.

LINCOLNSHIRE COUNTY

Well what more could we have asked for....Bluprint III collected his HOYS ticket in the lightweight cobs with sarah by winning their class, and then was 5th in a very strong irish draught class. Lisha & Janus were very close in their HOYS qualifiers... the Heavyweight cob & the coloureds. Jay went really well & lisha is improving all the time.

HICKSTEAD DERBY MEETING

Well we had 5 at hickstead on coloured day, and what a successful day it was in classes of over 30....in the non native class we had Kellys Dream with sarah  & snowberry swan  with julie. On the first pull in snowberry swan was pulled in 6th and kellys dream was quite low. Things changed after the individual shows and kellys dream finished in 2nd place gaining her a place in the main ring championship, snowberry swan was not placed in the top 6 but julie was pleased with her initial pull in.

The NCT class saw  Janus, Tiger Tim  and peaches & cream.  The first pull in was great lisha was pulled in 2nd, Timmy 5th & peaches 7th. But unfortunately after our shows things changed  and none of them got into the top 6 to parade in the main ring.

The afternoon was the in hand classes and we hit the top!!!! after the nct boys had some good placings it was the non native class for Kellys dream, well...she won her class of over 20 horses. Then went in hand coloured champion!!

thanks for everones help at this show, it was an amazing day and we all had a fabulous time...topped off with a lovely lunch outside the lorries!

THE ROYAL SHOW

Kellys dream & Bluprint III went to the royal, The classes were absolutely huge but kellys dream was 9th in her HOYS qualifier.

KENT COUNTY

Coloured day was a success with kellys dream, she won her ridden class and was reserve champion, then won her in hand class and was reserve again! what an achivement for this fab little mare in her first season. Blueprint III then went on cob day to his HOYS qualifier and came a very respectable 3rd in a good class.

ROYAL INTERNATIONAL HORSE SHOW

On the first day at RIHS was coloureds day, we had 3 ponies competing the classes were massive....over 40 ponies in some classes!!!  peaches & cream was first in she went really well and was pulled in about 10th to begin with but was unplaced. Kellys dream was up next  she went ok but was slightly unsettled at times but it still saw her with a 9th place. Then it was janus turn, again he went amazingly well but didnt see a placing!  we had a fab day anyway.

Next up was cob day, Lisha & janus finished 5th in the amateurs which she was over the moon with.

NEW FOREST SHOW

This is one of my favourite shows of the season, we were competing in the coloured HOYS & cob HOYS qualifiers. Cobs were first....Blueprint III had a good pull in the LW then finished 6th, in the coloureds Kellys dream finished 5th, Travellers Fortune finished 4th on his first outing this season and janus was 6th! no tickets to take home but a great day had by all.

WINCANTON HORSE SHOW

My first visit to this show and i enjoyed it, cobs were first up. Blueprint III won his lightweight class, and janus was a very close 2nd place in the heavyweights..so close to qualyfing!!!!!  Kellys dream was next in the coloureds she won her in hand sports pony class and was in hand coloured champion with lisha, then she won her ridden with sarah

PONIES UK

Peaches & cream and tiger tim were competing, in the my little nutmeg novice pony, peaches was 2nd and timmy finished 3rd. then peaches went on to take 1st reserve champion. The restricted coloureds saw timmy finish in 2nd place this was brilliant for him in such a big class. We also done the pairs class with brother & sister! They went really well together and being the only coloured hairy ponies competing we finished 4th in the evening performance.

BUCKS COUNTY

Janus, Blueprint III & kellys dream had a day at bucks county in the cob & coloured RIHS 2010 qualifiers. Blueprint III finished 5th in the lightweights. Janus was 2nd in his coloured class & qualified for 2010 RIHS with lisha & kellys dream was 4th.

EDENBRIDGE & OXSTED

Travellers Fortune had a good day here winning his in hand class of 38! he was then 2nd in the ridden again the class was huge of nearly 40! he went so well considering this is only his 2nd outing this season. Janus & lisha were in the heavyweight cobs they were initially pulled 4th and thats where they stayed again missing out on their HOYS qualifier.....

BSPA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

Janus & Kellys dream were our contenders for this show. To start the day Kellys dream was in the Brightwells sports pony of the year, we had to do a dressage test, jump a workers course & do an individual show after the marks were put together she won! then went on to take reserve champion. she also finished 2nd with 70% in her dressage test. Janus had a good day winning his HW cob class, and gaining some good placings over the day. Lisha & sarah got into the evening performance with both ponies and had a great day with lots of laughs and plenty of rose!
