CHAPS (UK) GRADED TRADITIONAL PONY STALLION

Toby is one of the nicest stallions you will find, his temperament is amazing and kind, he is stabled next to mares and never makes a fuss! He has proved to be very trainable having a good attitude to his work and never says no!

At Toby's stallion grading he was the only traditional to obtain fully graded status, gaining over 8's for temperament, conformation & star quality. He truly is a credit to his type.

Over the past 4 seasons he has excelled in the show ring winning many county & regional show championships including the Clarendon Coloured In-hand Champion & " the Hollyland Youngstock Championship - twice!

Toby was one of the most successfull 3yo stallions in 2006.

His 1st ridden season went amazingly well, after being broken for just 12 weeks he won the CHAPS Winter restricted final at BSPS Champs he also went Reserve Champion. He then went on to qualify for all his

championships including qualifying for HOYS 2007 at New Forest in the mud!

At HOYS he was a little star gaining 9th place. It was an amazing acheivment for all of us to qualify a 4yo for HOYS

He also qualified for HOYS 2009 at CHAPS champs 2009.

PROGENY INFORMATION

Toby's foals are proving to be as good as he is, all have excellent conformation & temperaments. So far he has produced 100% tobiano foals from solid mares.

In 2009 he sired Nortonhall Smooth Criminal who went on to win & reserve champion @ British National Foal of the Year Show 2009.

Stud Facilities

Our Stud is a small, private facility with communial or individual grazing for mares. Stables are available for mares that are required to be stabled. Mares can also be taken in for Foaling where  24hour  monitored stables with  CCTV are used.

Grass Livery

• Barren Mare £5.00 per day.
• Mare & Foal £6.50 per day.
• Plus hard feed :-
• Using our Spillers Stud Nuts £1.50 per day Using feed provided by owner £1 per day

Full Livery

•  Barren Mare (up to 14.2hh)  £10 per day.
• Mare & Foal £12 per day.(stabled at night)
• Mare & Foal stabled 24hr £15 per day

Mares for foaling

• Mares are taken for foaling are covered by CCTV & are cared for as our own in foal mares.

• Mare for foaling living out at grass £7 per day includes hard feed
•  Mare for foaling living in £13 per day 
• Foaling fee £175

These Livery prices are for horses & are a guide as any special requirements can be catered for.
