Phoebe was backed by us in summer 2009. She was totally in the rough and virtually unhandled. She is seen below with her happy owner, Charlotte, after our hard work was done, back at home.

We wish her and Charlotte lots of luck with her in the future.

12.2hh Piebald traditional stallion from Penzance, Cornwall

'My 3 year old traditional stallion spent some twelve weeks with Sarah Fortt and James Bardwell at their yard in Essex.  Having arrived there relatively unhandled they worked very hard on him and he returned a completely produced animal.  They broke him to ride and drive, hacking out alone and in company.  He learned to jump both loose and ridden over coloured poles and they also found the time amongst their  own busy showing schedule to take him to some shows. Imagine my delight when he returned with some ten rosettes to his name. I cannot praise them enough and Sarah was always very charming and patient with my endless questions about his progress as living in Cornwall I could not of course just pop in and see him!' from Liz Prowse

'I was looking for someone to give me regular lessons to get my 4 year old's schooling up to scratch and someone on the internet recommended Sarah Fortt. My lessons with Sarah were so beneficial that when I found out her yard was only 15 minutes from me, and she had spaces, moving there was a no brainer. Freddie goes on and off of schooling livery when we feel he needs a bit extra work and Sarah has helped me so much in turning him from a common looking baby to a mature, well schooled 5 year old traditional cob. He is starting to look quite impressive after all of Sarah's hard work. I can't thank her enough for her help with him and I have no doubt that moving to Top Class Ponies was the best decision I've ever made. Sarah is incredibly talented,  and the yard is so sociable, I've made friends for life. It's changed my horsey life beyond recognition and I love everybody there!
